It does not look good according to these pictures indeed. According to a FerrariChat member who spoke with a Ferrari representative, the need for an in-house design team comes from the nowadays increased importance of aerodynamic and design integration. It makes sense and explains why current Ferrari are not as beautiful as the past ones, still it does not prevent longing for the past designs...

This a common refrain. However, if you look at the two cars that are entirely an internal design - LaFerrari and FXX-K, they are pretty spectacular. The issue has been with the mid cycle Modificato versions of Pininfarina designs. The true assessment will be with the next generation of cars starting with the California - the current version of which is quite possibly the ugliest Ferrari of all time.

JEANTET:I like it better than F12 ( especially the vagina back is gone).
As always with a new ferrari, those who said the new design Is crappy now will be the first to regret it when the new generation will come.
I think the rear gives a lot of character to the F12, a special design and different from any other car in the market. The superfast rear is more classic with the four tail lights , but a bit to busy.

Two heads are better than one and the current designer at Ferrari 'Manzoni' seems to want to take credit for every single touch up on the whole lineup

Leawood911:Excellent resale strategy. The new car is always quicker but uglier. Gives you a reason to upgrade or love the old model. Brilliant.
At Fezzachat, that kind of talk is considered blasphemy and much worse than being linked to isis or any other terror group
