I got 125MPH (201KPH), but I'm a wimp and don't want to go to jail for speeding.
I believe Carlos hit 191MPH (308KPH) several months ago in Spain, but the 911 speedo may be off by a couple clicks.

Does this take in account issues such as wind, aerodynamics and temperature?
I think you can only gauge the speed from the gear ratios based upon statistics from the company (which aren't always accuarte, ahem F-cars
).

I have a GPS sistem on my car for radars and it displays GPS "speed over ground" which is very accurate so next time I will look at that

Hmmmm... I actually don't know, when I hit 308 I had to brake hard for a 220km/h turn, and at 308km/h and with a camcorder in one of the hands, it can be a little preocuppying
especially becuause its harder to judge the braking point at that speed.A couple of weeks ago I overtook a unmarked police at over 200km/h in that same place!

I couldn't tell where the redline was from Carlos' pic, but it's clear from sergini's that it's at 7000 rpm. Question answered.
I wonder why the rev limiter didn't cut in on you Carlos, since you seem to be more than just a litle over the redline . . .
