CloseCan someone on this board tell me what oem paint mfg (PPG, BASF, Glasurit, Spies-Hecker, Dupont etc...) was used at Zuffenhausen to paint a 2012 991 Guards Red or any other color or a PTS (paint-to-sample)?
I have contacted to no avail: PCNA in Atlanta GA, Porsche USA dealerships, Porsche restoration shops, Body shops throughout the US, Google searches, Rennlist, 6speed, detailers, excellence magazine...).

Usually, the paint code on the particular car will give a clue with its first letter (G for Glasurit, etc.). Find your paint code (usually inside the front trunk).

I was informed by the 'Porsche Exclusive' Manager for the US at PCA Porsche Parade in Salt Lake City, just a few weeks ago, that DuPont is the new supplier of automobile paint at Zuffenhausen. I will try to get a confirmation of that next time I talk to him here in Carmel shortly during the Historic activities starting Aug. 13th.

Standox is owned by DuPont.
The topical question at the moment is who will own DuPont's paint division, since it is up for sale at the moment.
