I love the Manthey cars. They always look so aggressive. I sincerely hope that their test went well. I would love to know the times that were set .
The first race is at the AUTODROMO do ALGARVE on April, 26 - 29 2012

Well done Manthey! First win for the 2012 RSR at Portimao in the International GT Open!
...and another win for Tandy and Holzer in the second race of the International GT Open on Sunday - as well as a hat trick for Porsche, with 1,2 and 3 on the podium (winning both classes in the process). Also the second win for Lieb and Krumbach in the third race of the VLN series. Manthey Racing is on a roll!

Hi everyone!
Did someone say 2012 Porsche 911 GT3 RSR? We (Team Falken Tire) have been watching the fan forums for a while now and decided to jump on board. So while we're at it, here's a picture of our 911 GT3 RSR last week at a test at Mid Ohio. Just a couple more weeks until we head to Round 4 at Lime Rock Park of the American Le Mans Series!

Sure! Since our team didn't participate in Le Mans, we have about 6 weeks dedicated to two car and tire tests and rebuilding the car. Our first test was at Road Atlanta and our second test was last week at Mid Ohio. Our Porsche Factory driver Wolf Henzler was racing at Le Mans, so Bryan Sellers and Martin Ragginger (Or Raggi) were behind the wheel at the track where we had our first of two 2011 wins.
The team tested several new constructions and compounds of tires and Program Manager was very pleased with the results. Mid-Ohio is a great track for tire testing because it demands ultimate performance from the tires, including good handling and tire grip, and for more than just one lap. The team tested for two days before packing up and heading back to Indianapolis. The season schedule is going to be pretty packed from here on out (Lime Rock is just a few weeks away, July 6-7), so now it's all about a solid run until Petit Le Mans in October. First of all, a very warm welcome indeed. Very happy to hear from you via this thread. Guess there will be plenty of questions coming up in the near future. Until then, could you shed some light on the qualities of your drivers? Ragginger and Henzler have been well known in the Carrera and Supercup and, being Porsche works drivers, seem to make a very good job. How is it possible to receive works drivers from Porsche? I guess providing a great team makes that decision very easy...

Falken Tire currently offers tire fitments for multiple 991 and 997 trim levels in the Azenis FK453, please visit www.falkentire.com to see if they make one for your specific Year, Make and Model.

I have a pretty basic 2005 997 S. When I check your website for tires for that model (or any 911 for that matter) I get no results. The 991 is not even a choice. I can see the tire you mention and I can see it in the sizes that would fit, it simply does not come up as a Porsche when you search by make and model.

I apologize for the website confusion, we are currently working on a new site which will have a better user functionality. You are correct, we do make the correct fitment for your vehicle in the Azenis FK453, both load and speed ratings are compatible for your 2005 997 S.
