Congrats Alex, you didn't order the Sport Chrono. It seems strange for a PDK car, what is your rationale?

We really wanted to go simple ( we tried ), and finally ended up getting the electric roof which some how I regret that choice, will see when weather opens up a bit (very soon actually Smiley ).

Other than that, our 991 was ordered pretty simple. TWO MAIN OPTIONS (as always) wheels and sport exhaust, those are always options we go for. Electic steering wheel, PDK, sport steering wheel, and that's it !!! Smiley ....Sport chrono was a choice....but decided it was more than we wanted !!

We also thought getting just the basic 19" wheels !! But thank god we didnt !!!The painted rims makes the car look PHENOMENAL !!!!! Smiley

Hi reginos, the wheels are equipped with the option Painted in platinum (silk matt), its code 446). It also comes the coloured Porsche crest !! GREAT LOOKING !!!!! Smiley Smiley Smiley

Yes! Because that's the option. They come finished in matt grey. I was quite surprised when getting off the plastic from the rims, thought it iswas going to be jut dark silver, but the matt finish definately gives the rims a much sporty look !!! i cant be happier !!!

BTW I just camed from the dealer to get some little present they had prepared ( a special edition 917 lemans watch, only 917 made, ours is 502) !!! kiss What an amazing piece !!! ..... i went to the dealer to check the first 991 cabriolet in Madrid !! They received today and got the call !!! Did some pics !!! Its one of the most beautiful sportscars out there right now.....The top is just retro style, its even better looking with the top up than down !!! Reminds me a lot of a speedster !!!! Its going to sell like pancakes in summer !!!! Took the 991, the excitement I have is growing more and more everytime I get it. The sound is intoxicating, but till breakin in the engine !!! Only 90kms has now in total Smiley The sound when downshifting with the paddles makes a popcorn sound from the exhaust, that you will never get bored !!! The paddle shifts are great !!! The coasting mode is AWESOME !!!! 8.0L/100KMS fuel consumption M!!! Of course going like a granny !!! Smiley

Need to upload some pics of the 991 cabriolet, it looks sensational, just another 10/10 excercise for the design department !!!!

Lol, guys I can post more photos from last week driving her. Right now it has done 400kms in total !. Returned today from Italy (Lake Como, beautiful place !!!)

the tinted wheels look amazing with black exterior.

and I totally agree with you re the PSE! much much louder than the 997 PSE.

I was blown away when I first test drove a 991 with PSE. absolutely must have option!!

Yes, I saw one at the dealer a few weeks ago. Looked pretty good if you ask me.

I assumed that with "silk" options for the wheels you meant the dark grey option?

They are a bit of satin-shiny; not really reflective, but definately not entirely matte either.

If it were my choice, i'd go for eiter these wheels, or black wheels. Both look better than silver wheels on a white car.
