the cayenne version of Umber is really nice. it is the only brown Porsche leather i have ever liked.
isn't showing up on Canadian Porsche site yet
2012 991 C2S -PDK / 2010 997.2 turbo cab manual, sold / 2008 Cayenne GTS Manual /2008 RS 60 sold /04 C4S sold - 08 Cayenne Turbo PDCC sold
Cayenne umber which I have seen is lovely .. but it (dark tannish) looks nothing like the umber on the 991 configurator (light insipid beige).
anyone has any pics of Cayenne umber interior?
white and umber interior on a 991 would be lovely, if umber was the Cayenne umber
get a black upper door, black upper dash and black steering wheel & it would look amazing.
if they bring in to Canada i'll likely swap this 991 for one with that combo on either silver, basalt or maybe that BMW carbon black

Anyone thinking of ordering a custom bi-colour interior on a 991 needs to be careful. There are a whole host of parts that you need to special request the factory to change the colour of. I looked into it but it was just stupidly expensive due to all the parts that need to be changed. Here is a US customer car where the dealer/customer evidently did not realise that by only ordering black dash and door tops all the other highly visible parts would be left in the regular colour (Luxor beige in this case). The result isn't pretty to look at IMHO. The sun visors, windscreen air vent trim panel, sport chrono area panel, instrument surround, air vent surrounds, door tweeter speaker grills, dash speakers and door alarm LED surrounds are all left in the original colour. All would have to be requested in deviating colour to get the desired bi-colour look.

Absolutely agree, looks horrible IMO.
The secret of life is to admire without desiring.
Enmanuel:Sfo: maybe the configuration you meant was the Espresso/Cognac combo with the darker brown upper.
that must be it .. cognac, rich, deep brown colour. there's a Cayenne Turbo S with that scheme that I sometimes see parked on the street on my walk to work.
that US car is a disaster, it's like a blind man built it without any guidance

Here are some shots of it, I was going to post them earlier but I was writing form my ipad. I'm not sure if its an option but If I were speccing any porsche I'd like to get that cognac color on the whole interior with a ligher (maybe white or silver) stitching, it would look superb.

What a terrible end result.

+1 I decided to go for the full espresso (dark brown) interior because we have two newborns. Having the lighter leather is asking for trouble.

Might look OK to you if you normally wear a pink shirt with white pants and white shoes........
