    Excepting autobahn, nothing that one will notice in real life situations. And for the autobahn I would get the Turbo anyway.... If you take under consideration the price difference too, the C2 is the winner...

    The price difference is some 14000 EUR. If you consider that the S includes bigger wheels, PASM and PTV the difference is down to some 9000 EUR. Not so much more IMO for another 50PS (+15%) on a normally aspirated engine. Think of what Porsche charged for the X51 powerkit on the 997 with some 20 PS extra.

    Unless someone wants to stick to a basic C2 out of the box, which is not a bad choice anyway.

    Either car is great. I am just saying that if I want to drive fast on autobahn, a Turbo is the better car anyway.

    If I want to drive fast on the track, the GT3 is the better buy.

    For normal daily use, the +50hp will not make such a difference.

    But I agree, depends a lot on what you do with the car... On what roads you are going to drive it and if you do it daily or not...

    i´m surprised, thought the difference would be much bigger, according to those numbers the basic 991 seems to be the better option.

    The differente is so small - especially in THW 1km - 22.5 vs 21.8 - dont tel me that someone could feel it. Question is more how the feeling is how the engines deliver the power. even the numbers are close,that might be very different!

    I guess the difference is the same as with the 997.1 and the 997.1 S - at least I decided to go for the 997 and not the 997 S. IMHO, one may see / feel the difference on a track only...even today I would still struggle if I had to make a decision here and today...

    Exactly. You are going to feel that difference on a track perhaps and only if you are a good driver :D

    On real roads doing daily driving? No way. Only if you are 18 and imature  enough to start doing road racing against M3/5/Turbo/GTR/Evo/Sti/etc...

    And again the standard GT3 is better for the track and cost almost the same or even less (depends on options).

    And two more things: you can keep the 19" wheels on the C2 (makes a difference on bad roads) and the PDK C2 is rated at 194 g/km CO2 emissions which, depending on the country, may give you less tax and cheaper insurance.

    In the UK, the C2 is £10k cheaper than the C2S ..

    Once you add 20" wheels, PASM and PTV to C2, the difference falls to £7k.

    In my mind, a C2 makes sense if you don't tick many or any of the option boxes.

    Right, the base 991 still needs some basic options like PASM and PTV that are included in the 991S so in the end after all the options are added in the% price difference is minimal. Only if you want a very stock base 991 with little options does it make sense IMO to go for the base 991.

    I don't know Carlos... 9.000 euros is not minimal in my book... but price per value, yes, makes sense.

    No by my book either Smiley but after you put all the options in and you get the final price, the overall % price difference is not that big, less than 7%. But if you go fo a 991 with little optional equipment, then the difference is big and make more sense. Just saying that depending on how many options you are looking at getting, it the base 991 will make more or less sense.
