My C63 AMG Coupe PP Photos...finally

As promised (sorry for the dirty car, it was horrible outside and it was the only day I had time to take the photos).

    amg20.jpg

    amg21.jpg

    amg22.jpg

Excellent winter tires...Continental TS810 Sport M0...(225s/18'' all around)...sporty on dry pavement, very good on wet pavement too, good traction.

    amg19.jpg

    amg18.jpg

    amg17.jpg

    amg16.jpg

    amg15.jpg

Luggage room is pretty big (not sure if you can see it in the photo), I was very surprised.

    amg14.jpg

    amg13.jpg

Brakes (discs) have bigger size in front than Porsche 991 Carrera S....360 mm front (330 mm rear...same as 991 Carrera S).

    amg12.jpg

    amg11.jpg

    amg10.jpg

    amg9.jpg

Steering wheel looks thicker than it is in reality...I wish the Alcantara part would be thicker.

    amg8.jpg

    amg7.jpg

Rear room for passengers (two only) is huge too, even for adults.

    amg6.jpg

    amg5.jpg

Lots of possibilities to play music and videos from media (I copied my music from a SD card to the internal HDD)

    amg4.jpg

Entertainment system supports lots of formats, including videos.

    amg3.jpg

Entertainment system shows covers, pretty cool.

    amg2.jpg

    amg1.jpg

Cool...oil and water temperature in numbers

Nice C63 Christian. I am not fan of white-but your C63 looks pretty cool.

BTW, I would follow break-in procedure for this 6.2L NA engine. Any oil consumption so far?

Re: My C63 AMG Coupe PP Photos...finally

Very nice! I like the black roof and the other black bits on the white body.

The only thing out of character is the large central speedometer instead of the revcounter.

Re: My C63 AMG Coupe PP Photos...finally

RC, any idea why the panoramic roof is not available on the 63 sedan ?

it's available for the 63 coupe and all non amg c-class sedans.....really strange....

Very nice car. Always funny to see a green "Umweltplakette" on a 6.2 V8 muscle car smiley

I don't have a clue but somebody recently told me that Mercedes is planning a C class Cabriolet (not sure it makes sense since the new generation C class is due 2014 Smiley) and this is why the C class Coupe has been re-enforced and this is why there is a Panoramic roof available. Sorry, this is all I have. Smiley

Euro 5...amazing. Smiley Judging by the current fuel consumption, I can surely tell you that this engine is amazing.

I really don't care about fuel consumption but 14.3 l / 100 km in the city is pretty awesome, compared to the X5M or M3 Cab. Even the Carrera GTS Cab usually eats more fuel, even if I keep it slow. Of course I am currently driving in a more relaxed mode due to the run-in period but still...14.3 liters...amazing for such a monster engine.

Funny story btw: A customer of mine, he is in his 50s, enters my business, he just saw my car sitting in the parking lot. He asked me if this model is new, he didn't know that Mercedes offers a C class Coupe since last summer (truth is: I never saw a C class Coupe on the street, don't know why). Then he asked me what displacement (!) the engine has...well...I kind of wanted to lie but hey, he is a customer and you don't lie to your customers, right ? So I told him 6.3 liters (later I remembered that it is actually a 6.2 l engine but anyway).

You should have seen his face: "6.3 liters ?" "Are you kidding me?" "This car has a truck engine?" He was really shocked, he didn't have a clue about AMG and their V8 engines. I talked to him for about 10 minutes and he was so fascinated, like a little boy who just discovered the taste of ice cream. Unbelievable. Pretty positive experience but I'm not sure everybody would react the same way.

On the other hand, one of my employees actually thought that this is my wife's M3 Cab because she told me that the sun comes out and it will be great to open the roof... Smiley When I told her that this is a Mercedes and not a BMW, she couldn't care less. Smiley Smiley

That's lovely ... I wouldn't worry about keeping it clean ... it's a white car ... it will look clean less often than dirty :)

Congratulation Christian, the car is a very classy - yet sporty spec! Enjoy it in the best of health and try not to burn through those tires too quickly

It always amazes me how little most people know and care about cars. Because we're so fascinated and passionate about them, we involuntarily assume others are as well, until you start talking to your average joe and you get these remarks like you just illustrate. Smiley

Enjoy it in the best of health!

Re: My C63 AMG Coupe PP Photos...finally

    Very nice RC.

I see you took off all the badges, but did the thought of putting a diesel badge on it ever cross your mind? Like what you were planning to do the Panamera.

Re: My C63 AMG Coupe PP Photos...finally

It looks GREAT RC !!!,kiss Many congrats !!! i love it in white, love the steering wheel !! Font seats and rear seats actually look very sporty !!... I think I would buy one just because of the sound !kiss

Regarding the fuel consumption, I think 14L/100kms is may be a bit higher than expected if you are only breakin in the engine...from what I remember, all 911's we've had, our fuel consumption was in 13-14liters driving normal, overall relaxed but with some short accelerations, and without exceeding speed limit....anyway, I think I prefer now an C63 much more than a stock E92 M3 !!

It looks like a beast form any angle !!

    Enjoy it !!kiss

Nice Pictures of a Beast, this color looks different under every light condition, thats actually why I like it so much.

I would recommend to you to paint the wheels in Black, it suits them perfectly. (as you can see in an other thread smiley

I have the matte black painted 19'' wheels...with summer tires.

These are the winter wheels...as I pointed out on several occasions. Smiley

Re: My C63 AMG Coupe PP Photos...finally

I didn't miss that of course, I just recomended to you to also paint the 18" in Black, since you stated that you dont like the looks of them. IMO This 2 Tone doesnt suit well on White, while it suits perfectly on a Silver, Grey or even Black car.
