Yes, this one and one more that's is with a hint of blue. The bluish one feels like GT Silver with a hint of light light blue, like someone mistakenly dripped a couple drops of blue into a can of GT silver.
In other words... A more expensive looking Rhodium silver with more depth in it ;) am I correct?

Hmm.
From the sample panel, it's not quite rhodium silver. A more accurate description would be like the Mercedes Diamond Silver, but with the hue more towards blue than green.
Truth is, the 2 liquid metal colours are quite disappointing. They are almost like any other factory colours, nothing really special to them. I mean, for 64k, they should have add some metal flakes like the McLaren volcano colours, or has a deep definition like the special DuPoint candy apple red.
When we first open the sample box, the 2 liquid metal panels were on top, I asked the manager is that the liquid metal, his first answer was no that's meteor grey. He sells Porsche for a living and see Porsche's paint everyday and he can't tell the difference at first glance. That's how bad the 2 special paint are.

I think you're absolutely right. Although both are nice colors, for that amount of money you expect something very special. I've seen that candy apple red paint from Dupont and that is something special indeed. A missed oppertunity for Porsche I think....
On the other hand, no matter what color, this car looks good in almost every color IMO. Best design since the CGT and personally I think it is even better.

Even some normal silver if the liquid silver is found too expensive. However, if someone can afford to pay so much for a car, what is another xxxxx EUR or USD for the bespoke colour? Liquid silver is the defining colour for the 918.

Well lets see. If I was about to drop about 1MM on a car I know I´d have to sweeten the deal for my segnificant other so 65,000 could buy a brand new Cayman to give as as ¨Hey honey I bought you a new car ! ... Also I bought myself a new one and it´s going to cost me 1MM¨ That would be my strategy instead of liquid metal color.

Good point. I guess it depends way too much on the person, I'd say colour is one of the most (if not the most) subjective aspect of buying a new car. The thought process behind such a choice is very hard to comprehend sometimes, even more so then the money is such a huge aspect of it like in the case of 918 colours.

it reminds me to my story where I told a guy who has a 918 on order that there seems to be a color THAT expensive and how mad people must be to order that - on which he calmly replied that he did 
....... - but if I am not mistaken it's not only a color but a much harder paint where you get less chips etc - I am sure whoopsy knows more....

NYC area, Monticello Motor Club, September 12-15 Washington DC area, FedEx Field, September 18-19 Atlanta area, Atlanta Motorsports Park, September 21-22 South Florida, Homestead International Speedway, September 25-27 Houston area, Motorsports Ranch, October 1-3 Los Angeles area, The Thermal Club, October 8-11 Times: 9am to noon; 12:30pm to 3:30pm; 4pm to 7pm Included elements: 918 Spyder drive, 911 and Panamera S E-Hybrid drive; configuration session

I like this colour. Light enough to define the styling intricacies but also warm.
Is it from the 911 palette, or something else?
It looks like a liquid metal color , giving more depth to the paint and specially giving the change of shapes much more consistence .
