GT3 RS 4.0 Nr. 585 of 600 has arrived!
After a long wait my GT3 RS 4.0 has arrived. I got number 585 of 600 which I guess means that production is coming or has come to an end. According to an interview with Jerry Seinfeld in German press he is getting number 600 (he ordered his in black) and I am perfectly happy to be just 15 numbers away!
It is cold and snowing in Sweden so I still have not picked it up and can not give any driving impressions. Judging from the looks though it is going to be crazy fast. In the end I picked the press picture colour combination white car/ white wheels/ white roll-cage, but I decided to go with black interior and black belts to make the car more durable on the inside. I wasn´t sure if it would be too much with the white wheels, but I am really happy with the spec - the car looks sensational IRL. I tried to keep the spec as light as possible, but passed on PCCB and the light weight battery. When I have reached the limits of the car as a driver I thought I could get the Li-Ion battery as my first mod to save 10 kg of weight :-). I did add the lifting-system after measuring the height of my garage entry and also remembering having trouble getting my 997 Turbo off the German car train on one very embarassing occassion. Also one special feature: I have installed the passenger airbag switch so that I can bring my 4 year old son to kindergarden on my way to the race track!
