wow - seems that 2012 will be a record 911 year with all these ordering books open - not even having launched the 4' series - time to buy shares ?
It could look that way but don't forget that the most successful Porsche models are still the Cayenne and the Panamera. The Cajun could definitely be a game changer, I think that if the design, price tag and performance are right, the Cajun will be the best selling Porsche ever.

The windshield appears lower, or at least has greater rake compared to my 997.2. I prefer the new windshield as it seems sportier, similar to the wife's 987 Boxster S. However, the side profile of the cab w/ top down has never been its strong suit, and the 991 cab side profile further enhances the rear end mass w/ it's more obvious increase in wheel base. The top itself is very well done and preserves the lines of the coupe nicely. So is this a fabric/metal hybrid top?

Looks great!
I wonder if the slightly different roof line (rear window portion) of the coupe (versus the 997 coupe) was intended to allow the 991 coupe and 991 cab to match roof lines exactly...?
Personally, I thought the 997 cab roof line was a considerable improvement over the 996. And this 991 has improved it even further - exponentially. The only thing better would be for a solid metal roof; but this is fantastic...

I love the silhouette, way better tahn the 996/997 cabs.
At first sight, I love the looks of the picture above, but on second thought, I think I would get annoyed by the combination of black plastic parts and the brown roof... maybe the black plastics can be resprayed or at least photoshopped to match the roof color?

At first, from this angle, I thought you have to buy new glasses !

lol! Maybe I do..! I'm not a fan of the cab, and I suppose I'm being harsh. Way too harsh in fact, as it's a far nicer car than the old cab - the back doesn't look as unnaturally humped. But the ducktail does seem to square it up from that angle, hence the comment. Didn't mean to troll. Sorry. I retract..!
