Wonderbar:
Pratus, I recommend Agate with expresso, or with Carrera Red. I think you will tire of silver.
kinda agree with you regarding the silver.
too many silver out there
not seeing much agate photo before. Not sure what the new grey actually look like in person, even dealer does not have stock with this new color. However, regarding the photo posted by Carrara yesterday, the agate grey did look good.
Its important read this:

I was just wondering as the press release suggests "more"...
...and on the world premiere of a model boasting impressive performance and dynamic looks, exuding unadulterated driving pleasure.
The rest of Porsche’s show programme is no less attractive either. Visitors will be treated to a cross-section of the product portfolio with the hybrid variants of the Panamera and Cayenne putting on a persuasive performance with their combination of outstanding efficiency and very low emissions and the two seater, mid-engine Boxster and Cayman sports cars thrilling with their uncompromising sportiness....
Wel, it says:
"the Porsche press conference ... will put the spotlight fair and square on the debut of the new 911 Carrera on the American continent and on the world premiere of a model boasting impressive performance and dynamic looks, exuding unadulterated driving pleasure."
Later, they say:
"The rest of Porsche’s show programme is no less attractive either. Visitors will be treated to a cross-section of the product portfolio with the hybrid variants of the Panamera and Cayenne ... and the two seater, mid-engine Boxster and Cayman sports cars."
Together suggesting that the new model is not the same as the boxster...
I would not be surprised if this "new model" would be a boxster R, or a boxster GTS or something stupid like that. Porsche has done that before; bragging about a new model and then disappoint with some sort of not-so-special-edition.
I wouldn't hold my breath.

In reading the release, it seems clear to me that the writer's intention was to highlight the 991 as the new model. Some inconsistencies: since it was first shown in the U.S. at last month's Rennsport Reunion, it's not the debut on the American continent, nor is it the world premier. I think it's just somewhat sloppy writing we're dealing with here.
"I don't mean to brag, but I am really good at self-deprecation."

According to this source it will either be the cab or the 4. Then again they are usually wrong.

Sometimes they are rigth... when they use our (rennteam) information
Thanks pjd, the car just looks soo much better than the 997, it looks wider and more aggressive. I'm loving the new front bumper and i can't wait to see it in real life. I live in Australia and my dealer said it won't be coming here until March
The Nissan gtr looks crap next to it. The new interior is just awesome and it definitely has't lost the sporty feel ♥♥♥

Good point!
Thanks for the amazing video of the one at the Nordschleife PJD! Judging by the liscense plate and the fact that it has PASM, this could be an official Nordschleife test... Because remember, those times we heard of 7:40, and 7:37 were all performed with prototypes, and were mostly speculation, as nobody could give a straight answer.

Yes, maybe an official test. Judging by the front spoiler, the car seems to be equipped with PDCC and the 20mm lower suspension

The GTR have a typical japanese styling (not saying that is bad). And not the same quality as a Porsche.
I drove a 2010 GTR (480 hp) last year and the car is a "weapon" (real precise and great engine)... can`t imagine how will it be the 2012 version (560 hp)... Autocar claims 2.8 sec. from 0-60mph.... that says very much...
On the other way, lap times and hp it`s not all on a sports car, at least for me... it`s what you can extract from each hp and the pleasure that you have with car... that`s why i´m also (very) curious to see the "feedback" from the new Subaru BRZ and Toyota FT-86...
