    Rear wing slim design behind the camo like the 997TT?

    Dual diffusers between the 2 exhaust outlets?

    Seems like the 991 Turbo looks more 'muscled' in the rear than the 997, especially in cab form, the bodywork seems to 'stretched' to cover up the rear wheel humps, looks very very good.

    Ron, great find--I especially like the taped-over logo in the steering wheel; I'm sure it really helps confuse anyone interested enough to take a picture.

    One question for the engineers out there.  The wide body models will need a wider bumper cover.  Couldn't this be easily formed to incorporate different tail lights and a reflective strip while still using the same structural supports?

    Calm down! The 991 TT will have 20 inch wheels.

    BTW, the tires are also much larger with the 20 inch wheels, so the ride and comfort is actually improved over the 19s on the 997.

    Actually tire profiles are the same.

    Why don't Porsche offer a C2 wide body option? It's great for me (with a GTS on order), but it seems strange that they don't offer it as an (expensive) option for those that like the aesthetics, and/or consider the wider track appealing from a performance perspective, but don't like or want a C4...

    Do you think they might consider this with the 991 or do you think they'll keep it as an end-of-line GTS special..? I think they'd make more money, AND please more customers by adding it to the options list.

    ...which makes me wonder why they don't make it standard, and have the narrow body as the paid option. It might be worthy of a new post, but I wonder what the vote would be for aesthetic (ignoring 2 vs. 4) preference for the wide body..?

    With all the new design touches on the 991 Carrera models, I hope Porsche gets rid of those AWFUL, AWFUL  turbo side  vents.  El cheapo stuff...

    In the 2nd picture of truck RC posted, is there smaller rear window under the camo soft top? I think there is no such thing like it in 997 cab.

    That is exactly what I was noticing, what appears to be a rear window under that fabric rear window. Are we sure the new cab will not have a non-fabric roof? The part-fabric/part-metal report seems really odd - cannot picture how that would ever look good. And that fabric roof line looks incredible solid and smooth. That rim under the rear "fabric" window, sure looks like a metal roof under there! Just sayin' ...

    Unless my ears are betraying me, it appears the Turbo has a more aggressive sounding exhaust. Sadly, at times it sounds like an old man farting. Hopefully they can tune it to give it a more refined performance sound.

    Rear fender intake cowl treatment on this is so much better than 996/997 treatment.  Hope Porsche is noticing...
