No, of course not. I would pay 160k EUR for such a car if it keeps the weight of the 4S. Honestly. This is much more than Porsche asks for the GT3.

I'm not a big fan of wings and spoilers, I like the clean look of the 991 Carrera S a lot but I'm afraid even the GTS won't be the car I would like to see from Porsche.

I don't get it but I guess their marketing department knows better. Smiley

The press conference is wrongly advertised for 11.45 CET on the Porsche Pad Cinema, instead of EST. Too early for Detroit but when I read it I didn't bother to do the time difference calculation yes

so true... Very eager to see the press conference tonight. If they announce that it will be offered with 2WD as well, it might increase the chances that we'll see other variants (including the Turbo) in the future.

Don't like the Saphire blue one, but the black Targa looks stunning!
Curious if they'll offer a similar package to the 50 years edition, only then the car will look complete IMO.

I was never a fan of the original Targa and don't like this either. To me this retro concept clashes with the modern 991 shape. But I guess each his own..

Love it. I liked the 996/997 "Targa" though they just were a better roof line coupe with a big sunroof. This is a true targa and it looks super. Hopefully they will come out with the option of the brushed stainless hoop, an athracite and a black. Can't wait to see it with the roof on.

Looks rather complex, as one would expect; however, this open air option may be admissible for many track day events because the roll bar should be more than a broomstick distance above a helmeted driver.
