When we are discussing colors, I recently came across a special color on order: Bermuda blue. I think this color would suit the new 991 very well, it more lively than the night blue, but less flashy / more classy for my taste than the aqua blue.
A link to a 997 in this color: http://www.automarkt.motor-nuetzel.de/Gebrauchtwagen_Detailanzeige.asp?fzview_id=33475&company=9&standort=23 (it seems Porsche AG made a few Werkswagen in this color)

I would love to a Ruby Red with the 20" Carrera Classic wheels, and a Luxor Beige interior.
Carrera Classic are the best looking wheels of those available, so far.
Interesting, because I think the new Carrera Classics are some of the ugliest wheels ever to be offered on a Porsche.
The Carrera S II wheels, Sport Design wheels, and Sport Techno wheels look fantastic on the other hand.

there should be no quarrel over matters of taste!
The Carrera S wheel, I like too. The SD and ST are not for me. The SD, BTW is almost the same as an Audi TT wheel.

Great colour!
I always thought Porsche metallic blue is too dark, why not offer something like Viper Blue or this Bermuda Blue.

I hafe your Frankfurt questions guys, and will do my best to get answers. Getting excited!
Wonderbar, here's a couple of questions that are more about their culture of business and leadership than about product:
1. How do they manage the innovation process?
2. In the next decade, where do they think the next big areas of innovation at Porsche will be?
3. Where do they look, outside of Porsche and the auto industry, for innovative ideas?
I'd love to have the answer to any one of those.
Thanks and I owe you a cold one.

OMG, Ruby Red looks stunning in a street setting. So modern yet so 911 still. They really pulled it off i think!
White is a favorite of mine too always. The last page's white one with the duck tail is my dream 991 right now!
indeed shifting is ancient technology - so is a fuel burning engine.. I happen to like both :)

Not much said so far about the start stop technology. Anyone with more details?
The video mentioned that it is just like the auto-stop-start feature already in use by the Panamera and latest version Cayenne. Once one is using DFI for the fuel system, the engine reliably re-starts on the first cylinder that's approaching top-dead-center. Cars like a Honda Civic Hybrid rely on using the electric hybrid boost motor to re-start from engine shut-down because it's so powerful and can give a somewhat reluctant engine a real spin. With a DFI engine, the regular starter motor is enough to make the re-start go very smoothly.
As the video explained, auto-stop-start saved about half a liter per hundred kilometers of fuel consumption in the 991 on the applicable government test cycle. You'll see it being introduced in more and more future vehicles from many manufacturers.
