Re: Boxster Spyder
@WAY: Although 'Pravda' means 'truth' in Russian, it was the name of one of the major national newspapers in the Soviet Union during the Communist period. That is perhaps why BlackOctober was intrigued by the choice of name.

BTW I think Melbourne is a great place for a Boxster Spyder. IMO either it's a good day or a bad day so the extra effort of removing or re-attaching the hood is not something one has to do suddenly during the day due to a sudden weather change. In my experience, the weather in Melbourne tends to be a certain way for a whole day at a time. When it's perfect, it can be really idyllic and in summer the temperatures can be even hotter than Sydney. But I think that there can be whole days that are cloudy with some rain due to proximity to the huge Port Philip Bay (which is more like an inland sea). I suppose Melbourne has more extremes of weather than Sydney does. In a way, Melbourne has something in common with Chicago (obviously without the snow) in that Chicago's weather can be affected by its proximity to the huge Lake Michigan.
