Notice in those pictures, every visible person is staring at the car. Even the guy on the motorcycle in the last picture. :)
Think about it, such lightly camoed mules, all in bright colours like Guards Red, Speed Yellow, Aqua Blue (you're not sneaking under the radar in those colours) all running around Stuttgart, when there is no more testing to be done at all for the 991. I think Porsche is driving around to generate buzz....

I agree with you carrara, I mean why else would Porsche be driving them around Stuttgart?Testing IS over. And have you noticed that they're all wearing the Porsche badge? All of these recent photos show them with the same amount of camo(very light). They are trying to get noticed. All of this happening after the teaser video. Not a coincidence either

guys pls tell me what you think . i spent some time working on shading and stuff
Looking good mate, I have to agree wtih Tim; the reflector looked sh!t on the 997.2, really an afterthought.
This on the other side looks pretty sweet and could work very well!

Some cars have a white dot on the B pillar. What could it be?
Also the obvious differences between 997 and 991 will be in the details, like lights, reflectors, engine cover edge, bonnet/wing relationship etc. These are either not visible or not so well defined in the pictures so far.
We have to wait until the official pictures appear or better until the car appears before we can evaluate its full visual effect.
As it appears so far, I wouldn't rush to exchange my 997.2 for it. But if I wanted to own a 911 I would feel happy to have one.

These are interesting as well. Notice the "depth" of the nose and the "point' of the rear...
is he covering a possible head-up display with his hands ???? THAT would be something cool ! I love that in BMW's.
That would be an amazing upgrade and something a sports car like this really needs, after driving the M5 I realize how great the head display is, just perfect.

The more I see this car, the more I think it will make the 997 look dated.
J.Seven
of course it will do. Question would be - if you would have seen the 991 before and the 997 would come after - maybe you would say the same. In other words - isnt it just the fact that you are to much used to the 997, or are really new elements integrated?

I think they are both. But i`m sure for people who knows well the evolution of the 911, will look for booth models (997 and 991) and, like me, will have the same feeling... 997 will look dated.... not because of big exterior changes but because of subtle ones
That struck me too immediately in this picture.
Looks horrible from this angle if you ask me.
The 997 turbo had a curve like that on the front bumper, really put me off when I saw it on pictures, luckily not so prominent in real life...

If you look at a 997.2 from that angle, the tail lights sit slightly in the bumper as well, though it isn't as pronounced as on the 991.
996AD, I really love the way the reflector looks looks with those tail lights. Much better than no reflector. Unfortunately, I don't think there will be a reflector on the 4 models, because the tail lights are slightly recessed. It would be hard to design a reflector that looks flush and integrated from all angles. I hope they find a way though, but I think we'll have to wait until the facelift, as we had to with the 996 and 997.
In the teaser video they showed that, but this picture gives much better detail. Thanks for the post!
Too bad there's only access to some filler caps two fans and an intake instead of an engine, but on the current model, you don't really see much of the engine anyway.
