And finally the Lohner Porsche, patented by Ferdinand Porsche in 1908, and stunningly recreated by Hubert Drescher (standing by the car). Drescher is a genius who has restored and recreated many historic cars such as the incredible Porsche Type 64 on display at the Porsche Museum in Zuffenhausen. Drescher used old blueprints and drawings to recreate the car, which is fully functional with its hybrid (electric, fuel) components.

I do not know if its more manly, but for me I find the manual more fun. However, I am starting to warm up to the idea of PDK with paddles in my next car. I will need to get some seat time in a 991 with paddles before I make my decision.
I agree and would also like to get seat time before switching to paddles. In a stick, I find that I am more "involved" with the car, and I like to downshift by rev-matching without using my brakes.

This is the front view of the Turbo S at the New York auto show. Rear view is above in my prior post. The Cayenne S Hybrid behind it is Auburn Brown--rather unusual color, and not bad in person.
Neither my post or this one gives the Turbo S justice. The car is fabulous..

Is that an Aerokit or something similar? Looks good, better than the stock bumper!

why arent pccb stock?
The Turbo S is basically a Turbo with more power and slightly better performance. Nothing new to report here.
PCCB isn't stock because they (Porsche) want you to pay for it.

RC,
sounds like i should wait for the 2013 facelift and possible MPG improvement, dont you think??? i value your input
If you are waiting for the 2013 facelift because of a possible MPG improvement, don't hold your breath. With the introduction of the Cayenne Turbo S next year (maybe ?), there will be some improvements to the engine, including CO2 output but real life fuel consumption won't be much different I'm afraid.
As to the facelift, the front is slightly nicer (less "curvy") but it seems that the rear doesn't get the facelift we have hoped for, probably just a slight change of the backlight shape, barely visible to those who don't know the Panamera. I haven't seen the facelift yet but I hope to get a chance early next year.
