CloseJust found out all GTS delivered to the Middle East come with the sunroof as standard. A bit annoyed as it does not appear on the standard items spec sheet & am not a fan as too much blowing sand & dust here. Wish it had been an option.
On a brighter note, the ship docks in Dubai at the end of May, so should have my car by early June - cant wait esp if you saw what I am driving now - 25 year old LWB Pajero nicknamed "The Bus"
Was supposed to collect my GTS today. Arrived at the showroom only to be told it failed its PDI - no cooling from the AC & no idea whats causing the problem. Finally got a call 6 hours later saying there is a leak in the system & they are in the process of trying to find it. So much for quality control in Stuttgart. Just hope my car is not one of those lemons that slip through the system occassionally & give their owner nothing but aggro
Just hope they dont have to rip the car to pieces in their search as my confidence in their ability is still dented from work they did on my previous Porsche's.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day

More pics to follow. AC leak turned out to be a defective o ring on a connection next to the battery area. Phew - that avoided them tearing the car apart.
First 100k's of the 3000k running in done but I think I will follow RC's method in another post.
Initial impressions:
Solid & sure footed (as expected)
Prefer the paddles to the buttons
Suspension more compliant than the Cayman S
The sound - OMG..... Blissful.

Having owned a Cayman S without PASM, I can confirm that the GTS suspension is definitely more compliant, at least in Normal mode (goes for most 911s with PASM).

Hi Gilmour, glad you'll be able to get some in the UK. They come in packs of 10 and are small in size, so re-usability is limited. Suggest you get several packs when you visit to keep you going...
BTW - I've just ordered a pair of black Speedster stone guards which I'm hoping will resolve the problem more permanently..
