My dealer was at an FF driving event at the factory last week Gary and says it is a phenomenal car with very precise steering that's extremely close to the 458 set up, incredible torque from just 1500 RPM and that the new 3rd generation CCB's are a major step forward in terms of stopping power. He is getting back to me on a customer driving event that he wants me to go on.

This car will be hot. The new product pipeline is truly amazing, but we are always the last to get European toys ! My dealer is going to Maranello for "World Dealer Conference " July 18/19. No news/MODIS in USA. He sent my options to Ferrari NA with promise of year end delivery.

I love Grigio, although I configured one on Ferrari in one of the 1950s medium blues and it looked very cool.
I'm really lusting after this car. Great for throwing some gear and a case of wine in and blasting off to the mountains to get out of this heat. Although, admittedly, so is my 911.
Here's to cars we love, in all colors.

See you in my FF at the F1 Paddock Club June 15- 17 2012 Circuit of the Americas.
Of your choice of blues It says in my "Colori " brochure
"Azzurro met- a medium shade of one of the great Ferrari colours, a particular favourite for LARGER cars " or
"Avio Met - a bright blue normally associated with the world of sport "
Why is it so hot so early this year in Austin ? Great City !

9Eleven,
It's a deal. The Hill Country Chapter of PCA is working on a Porsche Platz for the first race and some of us get a tour of the track on the 17th of this month. I'll post pics and a detailed description in two weeks.
Last Saturday it was 103 in Austin. It's NEVER that hot in May, never. That's August weather in Texas and in the Hill Country, even in August it's rarely that hot. I'm heading for Santa Fe.
I'm having kittens over the idea of getting to see the track under construction in two weeks. Really exciting.
That, and getting to see your FF at the first race.

I am in Santa Fe most of the summer. Shipping the 458 there now. PM me if you come to the Land of Enchantment.

nberry:I don't know but I don't think so. My dealer invited me to a personal viewing of the FF a week after next but I declined. I could have asked the question then.

As much as I'd like see the race next year here in Texas, I'm waiting to buy my ticket on race day. Bernie Ecclestone and local politics are too unpredictable
nberry:
Here is a photo of Grigio Titanio. It is not grey but silver. Is this the color of Grigio Ferr Met?
Not wishing to extend this, the 575 above is G Titanio, I used to own one. Grigio FF is darker but not as dark as Grigio Silverstone. The FF I showed at the beginning of the thread is from the FF brochure and is Grigio FF. I am not paying the $12K upcharge for this special launch color, my order has gone in as Grigio Silverstone a standard color in which many 599's were built. My spec came out at $328K

Damn, that is one good looking Scuderia.
+1 Me thinks, so. It looks awesome
Grigio Ferro is a very very nice color; just spot on for my taste but 12K $ for a color which means with the taxes around 25K Euro in Turkey, is too much even for my imagination.
But everyone has a different budget I would settle down with Grigio titanium.
