Yes, the FF is now on MODIS here. I have the pricing and a copy of the E brochure on it but not any of the Scaglietti personalisation material as yet.

I liked it with the shields personally as the front wings are very long and they add detail to it. How about the new carbon shield option (pic below)? It gives a modern, less obvious twist to this area. I think if I was ordering one I'd be very tempted by the Grigio Ferro Metallic and cuoio toscana combination the preview car was shown in.

I have never seen that carbon shield. Interesting.

Also coming around to Silverstone too dark and reverting to Grigio FF.

Don't be hesitant to admit it! It is a fantastic car! I drove it for two days in Italy - through the Alps - and I was blown away!

Grigio... hmm... I must admit, the colour doesn't work in the flesh - in my honest opinion. The silver and the red, even the blue.... wow! Here is a pic of the Grigio in sunlight, with my trusty Nikon D90 and a fixed 35mm lens:

Apparently the carbon shields are a dealer fit option so I'm waiting on a price. Seems mad that you have to pay for the standard yellow shields to get the wing recesses then pay up a second time for the carbon ones. I'd have thought it should be possible to put in a special request via the Atelier to have them fitted at the build stage.

I don't think this is Grigio FF, I saw this color at the launch and it could be Grigio Abu Dhabi. See my first post for Grigio FF

Love to see more pics of FF on the road and not in studios.

I had ordered the Grigio on one of my 360's and changed after I saw one on the street. It is very feminine looking. Also, it would (like Silverstone) have a very negative impact resale.

There are four good colors for the FF. Red, Yellow, Black and Silver.

Koko and ISUK - I do not have pics handy but if you find pics othe 599 GTO displayed at the Geneva Auto show (silver historic delivery with yellow stripe accross the hood), the shields are not the yellow ones. From memory (so needs confirmation) they are have a silver and aluminum look.

Kiran - thanks for your review, I will read it quietly at home or over the week-end, I have no doubt it will be outstanding and the best review on the FF so far. I have always had a soft spot for the more refined 2+2 GTs from Ferrari compared to the rest of their range, even when they were not perfect from a styling point of view like the 612. What is your favorite color between Rosso Maranello and America Blue? On your pics America Blue looks amazing, however I was not convinced from the other pics I saw in other mags. It looks like it is a quite light-sensitive color? I also remember 9Eleven saying it looks fantastic when he saw it during the FF launch in Maranello.
