The new Beetle looks even crappier than the previous model.
I prefer a "classic" Beetle, there are even fun ones with retrofitted Porsche engines and improved chassis, over this crap any time. It looks horrible.
I can't see any 911 gene in this or the previous model and I really wonder how others do?
The new Beetle actually reminds me more of a PT Cruiser, don't know why.

..its the front wheel archers (the PT cruiser thing) I see that too....but I also see 911. I cant see how others don't.

keep focussing on it for 20-30 minustes. once your eyes start to hurt you'll admit to seeing a bit of 911

This car is expected to drive very very well.
However, it might be too sporty for the girls (the typical Beetle buyers) but too girlie in image and appearance for the boys. Who are targeted with the new model, I wonder
