time for ferrari to move on from the daytona seat design.
They provide many choices, so I don't think that's an issue. Some people like those seats and they can have them.
Your so right ! This is a classy interior, none of that "nouveau riche" wood which emerging markets believe is essential in high end cars. The leather is Cuoio Toscana, a specially treated semi aniline with Beige Chiaro stitching.
I understand first deliveries in Europe are slated for June. A launch in the USA is slated for October with deliveries shortly thereafter. Anybody here brave enough to confirm an order ? Catchpole of EVO has ordered one.
Come on Iain ! We can get in and out for less than $20,000 and get major brownie points for the 599 replacement.

I'd be "in" if it gained me brownie points for the Enzo replacement
I don't think I'll have any trouble getting a 599 replacement from my dealer. I may look at switching my next Cali for one of those as I won't need it as my convertible when the 458 spider arrives.

I suspect the residuals on this car will tank in a short time.
I think you're going to be proven wrong on this one Nick. The FF may be polarising opinions but for those who like it the styling has a much stronger appeal than the conservative looks of the 612 which failed to ignite strong responses either positive or negative hence why it tanked in value due to buyers indifference. The FF is going to be produced in such small numbers that it won't be common place so residuals will stay high for at least the first two or three years.
Just look back to the predictions of doom two years ago on California residuals. That model is produced in far higher numbers than the FF and is still holding up extremely well.
You really do have to see the FF in person and sit in it before making a judgement. I went out to the factory preview fully expecting to dislike it based upon the launch photo's I'd seen but in the metal it looks stunning.
Iain, I have not seen it in metal so I will for now accept your judgment. However, regarding residuals do you know if any Ferrari four seater holding its value?
The California, at least in the US is not holding up as well as you think. The residuals are holding their own because many lusting for the 458 need to buy into used California's. The prior owners moved up to the 458.
When the California was first introduced, I received a call from a new salesperson and her pitch was if wanted to get into the 458 the price of admission was first buying the California. Little did she know.
