The looks should be changed.
They are in danger of having models that are so subtly different looking that the latest one becomes visually irrelevant in the marketplace.
The car looks old and that can also imply that it is really more for old people than for new generations of buyers. The car still looks like a museum item from the pre cell phone era.
It is a famous design with a famous profile to its shape, but why keep pretending that it looks modern? The drivers view over the hood with the two rounded fenders looks more like looking over the hood of a old 60s Peugeot 404 than something in the Mclaren MC4-12 era.
And when you view the differences between the current 911 and the coming one, the new one has similar rear shapes as seen on Astons and Jaguars. The back of the car no longer looks German. It looks like a Jag made in a occupied Britain or something
The car should look tactical and aggressive, it doesn't, it looks like a GT and not a outright sports car. I am sure thats what they wanted.
I suggest fixing its shape with a Kamm tail, a lower roof line and a front end with less noticeable curves for a flatter, meaner look. Inside get rid of the center console and change the over stuffed looking seats.
