indeed shifting is ancient technology - so is a fuel burning engine..  I happen to like both :)

    Re: Ferrari FF Crash!

He caught the kerb and destroyed a couple of alloys... perhaps damaged the suspension also.

    Re: Ferrari FF Crash!

How the F did that happen   well it didn't happen by its self thats for sure.

I guess thats what happens when you normally drive a 100hp car and then jump into a 600+ and dont respect it by thinking you can drive it in the same way. Doesn't matter if it has 4 wheel drive or not.

I think in the future we should be sending Rennteamers to test cars I'm sure more that most members here could do a way better job.

I just noticed that towards the end of the video they would put the bip after you heard the F. maybe its a promo video from Ferrari so we get use to the FF name.

    Re: Ferrari FF Crash!

The six sets of golf clubs in the back shifted and threw the car out of control.

I bet his colleagues had some fun with him when he got back to the office.

"So did you manage to get committed to the throttle, ha ha ha ?", and so on.

Jethro Bovingdon is a highly rated journo but these things can happen when you are multitasking...

    EPIC FAIL! Smiley

    #1 on my list! Smiley

Epic fail for the driver I guess Smiley

On the other hand, yes, that's why is better to keep your f@#$@% hands on the wheel man! And please (pretty please?) just shut the F up and let me hear the engine noise Smiley

This one is multitasking like an ipad Smiley

I'm actually surprised to see this doesn't happen more often with journalist. That and simply wadding up cars.

Was that the TMS sensors beeping like crazy when he pulled over?

    Re: Ferrari FF Crash!

     ouch.

I like the FF more every time I see it.

Oh, it happens but you usually don't hear about it because it is embarrassing and just take a guess who would have to write a story about it. Smiley

Some car journalists are pretty good drivers, some even with racing license but I met a few of them and I'd say that 90% can't actually drive. They think they can but they can't and this is why some reviews are so different in different magazines.
