Joost:
Bluelines,
Can you clarify a bit more about that? Especially wrt insurance and liability, etc?
My thoughts were that it is extremely difficult in this reqion of the world to get "type certificate" for a car with extra seats than what is specified on the papers of the car?

PS: Carlos, are you reading this? It seems to be possible mate! ;-)
I cannot comment on the insurance and liability. It is not my area of expertise (like I have any areas of expertise ...anyway). There is a 997.1 GT3 for sale at a dealer here in Switzerland with one (!) OEM rear seat mounted. I guess for using a child seat on top.
Apparently the 997.1 GT3 has got the rear seat belt mounts on the C-pillar and other mounts hidden under the panels and mats. The fitment of OEM rear seats should be a "relatively" straight forward job by any qualified Porsche mechanic. I read a post by someone who did it as a DIY job You need to order some OEM bits and bobs for the seatbelts and the seats themselves. Rumors have that it is not possible on the 997.2 GT3 since the mounts are missing or something else is different.
Obviously it will not work with the race shell seats, since one cannot even access the rear with these. So reclining shells or sport seats are a must.
Do a search for "GT3 rear seats installed" in your search engine of choice and you will find all the details.
