    Seat question

    I recently bought a 08 Cayenne S to drive in the winter.  I like it, but hate the seats.  Does anyone know if it's possible to swap them out with sport seats or something more supportive for a reasonable amount of money.  Trying to not spend a fortune as I'm keeping my 997 and will probably upgrade to a 991 when it comes out.

    I'm sure it's possible. Why don't you check with your dealer, both for the price of the seats only (parts department) and also the price installed. You could also get some sports seats from a salvage dealer for cheaper if the dealer price is too high.

    Rather than swap seats, find yourself an furniture upholstery shop (or even a hot rod shop).

    Typically they can take off the covers and insert new, firmer foam - lower the seat cushion to make more of a bucket and if you want, add side bolstering.

    A friend of mine did this to his Jeep Hemi because he didn't like the seats for his frame. 310lbs - 6'5".
