The bigger fuel tank uses the space that is occupied by the front differential on the AWD models. Curious to know if there are any homologation reasons that made Porsche offer this option on the GT3. Obviously the GTS is the only additional car being offered with it.
Does anyone know of any drawbacks?

Actually only more weight when the fuel tank is full but I guess for track racing, fuel capacity could be reduced.
Honestly, I get the feeling that Porsche wants to get rid of the 90 l fuel tanks but we shouldn't complaint. I find it pretty fascinating to have a 90 l fuel tank on a sports car.

I know a color consulting company that provides services to the paint, dye and textile industries. Yellow is going out of fashion fast. Its been over cooked for almost a decade since Ferrari did a car show with all yellow cars instead of red cars to shock the press.
Paris Auto Show 1990 if I remember correctly. I was there.
