Back when i was living in Switzerland, i saw him once driving in a 456 and one other time being driven by his wife in a Grand Cherokee
I thought the FXX was one of those Ferrari's that you owned, but never really owned. Ferrari retained rights to the car and you could only drive it at Ferrari events or, if you wanted to take it out on the track you would call Ferrari and they would fly over a bunch of technicians.
I had imported the only FXX in Turkey, when I was doing car business 4 years ago. The car was bought directly from the factory by my client and through my ex-car company I did the paper work and imported the car. The car is still unregistered. The owner of the car is the biggest car nut in Turkey. He has almost everycar, from Mini Cooper to FXX. The ones I like the most are Mclaren SLR, Carrera GT, 458, 599 GTO, 997.1 GT3 RS, 430 Spider. He also owns some unreasonable cars, at least in his collection; such as 135i, Cayman S, Cadillac's, Jaguar S type-R and so on.

He is the owner of the biggest natural gas/LPG company (HABAŞ), owner of a bank (Anadolu Bank), owner of a oil refinery (in Aliağa/İzmir), he has his own port, and one of the biggest in ferrous scrap. That all make him one of the top 15 richest guy in Turkey with a estimated wealth of over 1,5 billion USD.
12 years ago, I had bought his E36 M3 EVO (euro spec 6MT) that was 3 years old but at less than 6000 km. He has more than 40 cars right now in his collection.
With my ex-car business company, I had imported him 997.1 911 Turbo (he had 2), 997.1 Carrera 4S, Cayman S, CLS55 AMG, 135i, and the Enzo FXX.

Why are these cars unreasonable?
They are unreasonable in his collection. He had 2 911 Turbo, 2 997.1 GT3 RS (one of them is bought from someone I know), 2 Ford GT40, 911 4S, Cayman S, E55, CLK55, CLS55, SL55, all kinds of Maserati, all Cadillac models (SRX, STS, CTS-V, XLR), Alfa Romeo Brera, Megane Sport RS etc.

I think pride means that they are not really considered collector's cars...
I called them unreasonable because if I have a 911 turbo and a GT3 RS, I wouldn't buy a 911 4S and Cayman S.
If I have an M3 and M5, I wouldn't buy a 135i.
If I have all the Ferrari range, I wouldn't buy a Jaguar S type-R.
If I have an Enzo FXX, I wouldn't put a Mini in my garage.
Do you get my point

PS, Pride, what does it mean that the car is unregistered? That the owner can not drive it on the open road? I thought the FXX was not road legal anyway? Or does it mean that Ferrari still is the owner?

In Turkey, you need to have "car import permit" to import cars that can only be brand new. Importing of used cars to Turkey is forbidden by law.
My ex-firm had this permit (around 35-40 companies have this permit beside the distributors). So The Ferrari Factory invoiced the car to my ex-firm, then I imported the FXX to Turkey. I, then, invoiced the FXX to one of my my client's firm as if it was my dealer. That means I just invoiced the car to my client's firm only with VAT and nothing else (such as lux. tax which is 84%)
So the FXX is in my client's Company stock as a property without any registration. That means no number plates. It was possible to register the car but we didn't. I heard that he once drove it in İstanbul Park, Turkish F1 circuit.
It is same for my M3. I had a new firm (I don't do car business anymore, though) and I have the car under my firm name. I have a yearly temporary plates that are same as the German red plates, but ours is yellow, and drive the car with that on the road without registering it. However, I'm planning to register the car this summer because I want to drive it in Europe this summer.
