    TURBO S PDK turbo? intercooler?

    well a friend of mine did some pulls inside a track vs a turbo S pdk

    he has the turbo PDK with ecu tune... his car is really moving very very strong...

     

    the question is... wich turbo uses the TURBO S exactly the same of the turbo??

    i really think this turbo S he compared cant be stock... 1 person in each car and the turbo S seems to have stronger acceleration OR the turbo S stock IS MUCH MUCH stronger than a stock turbo,  OR THIS TURBO S is ECU TUNED too...

    I'm not sure I understand what you are asking (it is a bit confusing) but you should know that the Turbo S is pretty fast, 0-200 kph in 10 seconds flat. The 997 Turbo PDK does the same in 11.1 seconds.

    Cheap chip tuning is usually not as good as many people think, especially if the tuner just adapted the mapping curve, meaning for example just raising all parameters by 10% without any real adaptation of certain parameters.

    So yes, I would say that this video is very real and the stock Turbo S is really that fast.

    Yes, you are right, the 997 Turbo S has the same engine and turbo chargers the 997 Turbo has, only the software mapping has been adapted.

    So the most intelligent thing to do would actually to find a tuner who can copy the Turbo S mapping and adapt it to ones "regular" 997 Turbo. Everything else is not really good, with a few exceptions by reputable tuners.

    THE guy from the TURBO S said his car is stock..

    something i do not believe since my friends TURBO PDK CAR puts a bus LENGHT in a STOCK ECU TURBO PDK...

     

    question is   do you really think that turbo S can be stock since he still looks faster than my friends car?

    my friends turbo pdk car  IS REALLY FAST.

    wha do you think?? IMO  this turbo S is ECU tuned and the owner didnt told us...

    what i know he is seeing 1,2bar of boost in the S pdk

    and to finish my friends turbo pdk car has a nice ECU tune from sportec, I CAN BET  that the difference now is about 50-60hp from stock since he did lots of compares Smiley

     

    ARE YOU SURE S PDK USES THE SAME TURBO AND INTERCOOLER OF THE TURBO

    THE DIFFERENCE SHOULD BE ONLY MAP???Smiley

    It isn't easy to further tune the Turbo S with raising the boost pressure because it is already 0.2 bar higher than on the regular Turbo.

    I still think that Turbo S you mentioned is stock but of course you never can be sure. If someone is crazy enough to go with boost pressures beyond 1.2/1.3 bar...well...it may be impressive but not for long.
