Yes, very nice. It's definitely fitting for the 911 rear shape from the side and from the back it looks looks sexy. totally new design ideas, but pure 911 DNA remains.
indeed shifting is ancient technology - so is a fuel burning engine.. I happen to like both :)

I believe this is very close to the real deal ... ( front and rear , bumpers will have that pronounced portion , like 911 bumpers from the '70s )
...looking good!
...interesting that the AutoBild photoshop of the Porsche 991 also hints of the top of the rear bumper curving under the rear wing...

Thanks for the pix of the A7 wing. I'd missed that and it's a very interesting solution (although not sure it's really needed on the A7 anywhere but on the Autobahn, is it?)
And thanks for the pix of the GT1. What a beauty.
And if the 991 looks like that AutoBild rendering, I love it.

Can't wait to put my order in Question is wether I'm going for the S or the 4S..
If RC is correct there could be a 991GTS - that would be worth a look at..?

I doubt it. Porsche seems to use the GTS moniker to breath new life in end of cycle product lines. They did it with the Cayenne and recently with the 997. Just like you know a new Audi is right around the corner when you see the RS model.
John ( or anybody), how many GTS are Porsche making ?....

That's right, the GTS will only be limited by it's very short production run. Apparently dealer allocations are also on the low side, but to answer Keith's question...no-one really knows..

Well, we've read already somewhere that the rear is going to be 60mm wider wrt 997... :O
60mm compared to 44mm?
I don't know! Here's the source, you judge... what do they mean?

"Height of the new 911 will be 11mm lower compared to the current model. The entry-level 911 width will remain unchanged, but the Carrera S model will feature a 60mm wider rear."

According to this the 991 Carrera S will be wider than the 997 Carrera 4/4S by 16mm (60-44mm). What about the 4WD models? Even wider or just the same
