    Well, they are there... just not as prominent as on the remaining RS models. Interesting car with an attractive interior but the exterior is lacking something that sets it apart.

    Worth to note that the front tires are 10 mm wider than the rears...

    RS3... Little bit too late IMHO.

    RS3 is all about its engine. It is the most powerfull hot hatch on the market. Just... Is it enough for some of us to buy one? Price is pretty high for hot hatch as well.

    Proper sportscar for 49900€(that is price of Audi RS3 with Mwst in Germany)? Which one for the same money please?

    I am talking about new cars-not second hand market.

    This is a car that I really wanted as I have expressed here previously. But this end product leaves a lot to be desired. Where is the RS exhaust? The wider rear arches? The lack of wider rear track and wider front track and tyres tells me that this car is too front heavy and probably understtered heaps as a result. I wanted to like it and buy one, but I can't at this point. Golf GTI or R it is I think. Just out of curiosity, what else is priced similarly? I just want to get an indication of pricing in my country.

    Kreso : If I recall correctly you said once that the 2.5 L of the TT RS (same engine) and the RS6 is tunable due to dry sump - looking at Sportec,Abt or MTM you can obviously tune the car to 400 plus horses with little money on top. I am seriously considering the car and have asked for the Swiss price - but no info yet. I think 90k Sfr for a TTRS is a bit steep and I would not be surprised if the RS3 is in the same region or even higher which I think is to much for a A3.... - comming back to a used 997S Mk2....

    2.5L R5 in TTRS and RS3 is wet sump engine, unlike 5.0L V10 biturbo in RS6 which is dry sump.

    Agreed.

    Need a hot hatch with 5 doors? Go for cheaper VW Golf R with DSG. Need a bigger car? Go for either S4 Avant with S tronic or S5SB...

    Yeah mate, why not? I also like the GTR, even though it's not as quick or as special as the offerings of Ferrari, Lamborghini or Porsche. Then again, it costs only a fraction of the price of the European exotics. My point is that above a certain price and power range you can have something special, instead of a souped up hatchback. After all the RS3 is just an S3 with tauter supsension and more power.

    TT RS for me all the way...superb 0-100 kph performance with S-Tronic (4.2 seconds as far as I remember from a review).

    I would go for the new M 1series Coupe which will be driving cercles around this "front-heavy pig", Audi still is unable to construct a car with 50/50% weight-delivery, for the recent models they're trying to make this disadvantage "disapear" by using a 40/60% 4wd...

    I am back to this again.  After dismissing it as being underwhelming, I find myself wanting this because of that engine.  It's going to mainly be used as my wife's city car, but I will use it too sometimes.   This car will be 50% more than the Golf R in my country though, something to bear in mind.  Perhaps that is the more logical purchase.  Has there been any reviews on this yet?  At this point I don't even know how it drives!

    Haha fair enough, but then none of the cars I bought recently (or in the past) has really made sense from that perspective!  In 2010 I have bought a X5M, Boxster Spyder, E63, M3 sedan, GT3 x 2.  Tell me which one is suited to driving in Melbourne!

    Haha I am not Mike S you know, I don't have all of them anymore!  For example, I only have one of the two GT3s.  Anyway, I am not big on taking pics, unless you want to see some iPhone shots of my cars. Smiley  I have posted them on RT at various point anyway when I purchased them.

    I bet that this monstrous horsepower comes pretty handy when crawling at 15 mph in the city centre. Also, that colossal girth must be a real boon at parallel parking.
