Nice pics blueflame  It's interesting to see how the museum has been rotating various displays (which were different when I was there in early Sept 2010).

Thanks Blueflame, always nice to see pics like these.

Love the 964 btw! How does it drive? Is it very different from a normal 964?

    Thanks - it´s the same difference like that from a 997S to a 997 GT3.

But very hard suspension and no servo-steering - you have to fight with this car to drive it fast - but even today it gives you so much fun.

The plan is to keep it forever - it just has 27.000 Km.

Cool pics! I never visited the new museum till now. Almost unbelievable due to the fact that I'm living only in a 200 km distance. Very nice 964 RS!

Really worth a visit - you also should have lunch or dinner at the first class restaurant "Christophorus" inside  the museum.

    Great food - great view.

    BlackOctober:

We had a personal tour last Sep. It was about 1,5 - 2h. Very knowledgeable people. Ask all the questions you have. They know way more than they tell on the standard tour. Unfortunately we could not go into museum workshop and archives.

    Take your time and enjoy.

Are you visiting during the week or on weekend/public holiday? If production is running (ie during the week and not between Xmas and New Year) you might be able to arrange a factory tour as well if you call in advance.

    Re: Porsche Museum Revisited

It should take between 1.5 hours and 2.5 hours depending on whether you stop to take pictures and/or read every sign by each exhibit. Have fun

    Re: Porsche Museum Revisited

Most of the cars are the same - it's just the temporary exhibits that keep rotating.
