107) After enjoying some hours at the seafront and in the shopping areas of Knokke, we walked back to Porsche Centre Knokke where we enjoyed a nice lunch consisting of some tasty things to eat that we had bought at a local supermarket in Knokke. Once all the work was completed on the car, we set off on the drive back to Calais. Here’s a view of the wonderful sky we saw that evening as we drove back along the motorway in Belgium.

110) By this time, we were feeling quite tired after a long day with an early start so we got some rest in the passenger lounge onboard the ferry. Fortunately, the ferry crossing was pleasant and calm.

That’s it! I hope you enjoyed the photos! Most of all, I hope you enjoyed coming on this journey with us :)

We really enjoyed our trip. It goes without saying that, if you love chocolate, Bruges really is one of the very best places to visit. It has so much charm, wonderful architecture and so much beauty to appreciate.

On top of that, due to the much lower service costs in Belgium, we were able to visit picturesque Bruges, get the car serviced by a Porsche dealership, enjoy the seaside resort of Knokke and buy plenty of chocolate and pâtisseries for about the same price as the servicing alone would have cost in the UK. And this was in spite of the relatively unfavourable exchange rate between Euros and Pounds Sterling. Basically, it was a lovely holiday for free :) What a great feeling :)

Great photos Easy, must be great to know it was for "free" due to the rather big differences in service quotas. What a stunning city. BTW, noticing you liking your chocolates... perhaps a visit to the coastal city of Luebeck in Germany should be noted. They are famous for i think marzipan chocolates. It is not too far from you, through Holland and just past Hamburg.

Now that was a "sweet" trip Smiley , thanks for sharing. Used to go to Bruge and Knokke back in the eighties, had some relatives there, back then it was already a very nice place to spend a weekend with lots of cousy places.

That was AWESOME! You should have a website or seperate section here titled "Easy Living"!

You 2 sure get around and hit some nice spots. Bruges is extremely attractive, picture postcard old quaint Europe. Really nice. Knokke on the other hand was too modern. The food on this trip - . You'll have to sell the 997 to pay for your addiction, but no problem as you will be able to roll down the road on your own.

Hopefully you save all the high-end boxes from these choclate shops/ bakeries you visit. The breakfast in that cozy little loft looked so good. (and the blueberry scone on the ferry) You and Crystal are creating some great memories (smart thing to do while you are young). If you guys ever get a house in the burbs you will have great art for the walls.

You have to get to Strasbourg, very similar to Bruges but maybe even nicer from pics I have seen.

Once again you stayed at 20' from our home, what a shame we didn't met up.

Last weekend however wouldn't have been possible because i was in London from sat evening till monday evening...

Tomorrow my wife and i have an appointment with our eye-specialist in Knokke.

One week earlier and i've could have seen your p at the p-centre in Knokke.

Hilarious that i was in your city while you were that close of our home!

Next time ask for the "rea"l" chocalate specialists in Brugge, marcolini is one of them, Godiva and neuhaus are more industrial.
