    47) Our room was in the converted loft of this delightful guesthouse. Every comfort was provided for. It was like being in one’s own home. It was beautifully decorated and the owners gave us a warm welcome.

    52) Our hosts had prepared a delicious breakfast for us which they served to us in our room. They were so friendly and hospitable that they made us feel like we were guests in their own home. We really enjoyed our stay there and we would warmly recommend it.

    53) After breakfast, we headed back into the centre of Bruges where we parked once again in t’Zand underground car park. From there, we walked to Minnewater.

    75) The Leopold Canal was lined with poplar trees for as far as the eye could see. In the warm sunlight of the final hour before sunset, this view was simply magical and left a permanent impression on me.
