Enmanuel:
technical aspects aside, that looks stuning
+1, Very well proportioned, seems to have all the right stuff in the right places. Hopefully they'll be able to pull it off.
That aside, I think there are only so much brands that are "elligable" to produce a supercar. IMHO, jaguar is right on the edge, or just over the edge. So in the end, I think that performance figures and build quality will highly influence people's future views with respect to jaguar as a brand.
Reading through the article about this car in Autocar and it's proposed use of two as yet untried jet turbines it struck me that even if these turbines work the huge exhaust heat they generate must surely be a major problem for venting out the back of that design.
The article was already saying that the proportions would have to be altered were a conventional power source required to assist the 4 electric motors in place of the turbines.

I think the roofline is way too low. Looks out of place, almost like a custom cut drop. I'm sure it must have horrible visibility as it is right now. stunning cool design though externally.
indeed shifting is ancient technology - so is a fuel burning engine.. I happen to like both :)
It could make it into production in limited numbers.
