The specs are fantasy for the moment. Doubt whatever tune Lotus uses is going to put that much torque down low in the rev band. Don't think it will be a problem for the Esprit. I agree that a naturally aspirated motor is preferred, but I cannot conclude off the bat that the Esprit will have major traction problems.
Fantasy or not, it's not very hard to imagine what kind of torque a supercharged 5 liter engine is capable of delivering. I mean, by comparison, the mclaren has a tiny 3.8 liter turbo-charged engine and it develops max torque of 600 nm at just 3000 rpms ! (and 540 Nm, the torque a NA 5.2 liter V10 develops at 6500 rpm, is available at just 2000 rpms on the macca) And that is huge too.
