    2011 Cayenne Oil Level min reached

    Now that I have driven the car for over 1000km, today I noticed a message popping up on the dash telling me the oil level has reached minumin level and the manual says to top up, oil level was at max 4 days back, is this normal or should I take her to the workshop immediatley ?

    I remember I was getting the annoying "Service Now" in my 08 CTT and GT2, but this new message is new and never seen it on a brand new porsche under 700miles Smiley

    Was the oil level at min. on oil stick as well ?

    The turbo has an oil dipstick ? because I can't find one nor does it say anything in the users manual.

    The oil level has reached min and in yellowish/greenish color, the manual states that the difference between min and max bars is approx. 1litre of mobil 1 oil to top up.

    Aggressive driving has anything to do with oil burning too fast ? I was enjoying shifting gears via the paddle shifters in tiptronic mode the last 4 days Smiley Smiley

    Could it be that Porsche have gone all and only electronic for oil level measuring ??    On this pic. is something that looks like oil dipstick  ,

    Your car/engine is in a brake-in period and somewhat higher oil consumption is normal until piston rings and cylinder wall sit properly .   Keep on driving gently and every now and then aggressively  Smiley

    Came back from the workshop and after a 10min wait she was back to max level again, a 1.5L of engine oil was all she was asking for Smiley

    She is beautiful , highly capable and at a same time modest - how nice .    What about a dipstick ...  does she have one ??

    There's one where you pointed out and boy was that thing on fire or what (hot as hell), but it's very strange that the user's manual doesn't say a word about it and where it's located  at Smiley

    Porsche way of telling us , indirectly , don't check oil level while engine is hot - would not be accurate .

     that is not a dipstick, its bolted to the tank.  I seem to be having a problem with the oil level gauge though. The tank has just been filled yet the meter says it is at minimum and has been stuck there for several days. Any ideas? I have read everything in the manual about oil and could not find any solutions.

    Now at 2,820km 2 bars have dropped, one more to go before I return for a refill and no issues as we speak
