    These are the Quattroruote-Turbo S times compared to this Turbo PDK:

    Turbo S (Turbo PDK)

    • 0-60 km/h in 1,5 s (1,7 s)
    • 0-100 km/h in 3,0 s (3,3 s)
    • 0-200 km/h in 10,3 s (10,9 s)
    • 0-260 km/h in 20,1 s (21,0 s)
    • Quarter mile: 10,9 s/205 km/h (11,3 s/203 km/h)

    So I don't think the Turbo S would be much faster to 300 km/h. Maybe 1,5 seconds.

    About right for 500hp and PDK although surely the heat it was achieved in took away 40 or 50hp ? Certainly makes the SA test of ~41s look a bit silly ?

    actually no!  if it took  almost  1 sec till 260 when the speed increases very fast after that the the POWER will show the difference, i think 2,5 sec of difference.

    turbo S 300km/h time = 34~34,5sec

     Very interesting - these QR numbers are pretty much in line with the above data. That is: the above data should be quite accurate Smiley

    10.820 at 209 km/h? Or what speed? Too high speed for this time? We have lower speed but better time, but we have not ideal cover, 4% incline and high humidity In better conditions we hope to see 10.6 at 206 kmh...

    There are alternatives to Vbox but all of them measure speed, acceleration etc. via GPS signals.

    Just out of curiousity: why do these guys always wear a racesuit and a helmet when doing high speed tests ? This is no racing, just normal driving.

    I know it looks more dramatic but I do 290 kph (speedo) in my truck almost every day, listening to dance music.

    Well, they've got to wear something if only so they won't get arrested for indecency. 

    Since that is the case and since they know that they'll be driving at high speeds in the course of their work, it does appear to make sense to wear the appropriate working clothes just in case things happen to go badly wrong. 

    Just now and again it really pays off.
