    Audi R8 MY2011

    Audi R8 MY2011 changes(from CW26):

    -V8 available in upgraded version with 430ps

    -V8 available for Spyder as well

    -both V8 and V10 fullfill EU5 norm for MY2011

    -new optional wheels-Rotor design Titan polished design(same as RS5 wheels) in 19"

    -new Black optics for exoterior(front grill in Piano Black, matte Black for rear window surround and exhaust pipes)

    -new colors-both standard and Audi exclusive

     

    Prices for German market with Mwst.

    R8 V8 Coupe 109100€(116500€ R tronic)

    R8 V10 Coupe 144400€(151800€ R tronic)

    R8 V8 Spyder 121100€(128500€ R tonic)

    R8 V10 Spyder 156400€(163800€ R tonic)

    NO, tehcnically impossible. Next gen of R8(from MY2014) will get Graziano sourced DCT( S tronic).

    My remark: R8 is still one of the best sportscar on the market. In fact IMHO R8 Spyder V8 is the best choice if you want manual open sportscar.

    The date to consider a R8 is after 2014, then!

    VW Group were the first to re-introduce the DCT transmission but failed to have it on their top car. Poor product planning IMO.

    Part of intake system and engine internals are the same as on RS5 engine. Save for dry sump on R8.

    One other little info from inside-this is the LAST generation of HDZ NA engines from Audi. Next gen of R8 will feature force induced engines...
