BMW 5GT Sales
BMW admits the bold move to introduce a completely new model in its highest option/engine was a mistake. In the USA only, this model was to be expected to do better, but the market has shown otherwise. Sales are below expected numbers for the USA.
In other markets BMW introduced smaller engines and sales are much better. I also read that more females are buyers than BMW expected.
Is this BMW not doing a proper potential customer market assessment, or do you think the customer demand has shifted

indeed shifting is ancient technology - so is a fuel burning engine.. I happen to like both :)
buuuuut: it's a very comfy Chauffeur limousine. I recently used a Limo Service to get to the airport and they picked me up in a 5GT. I must admit I loved the mix of comfort and "sporty" interior design. The huge panorama roof created the impression of sitting on a sunny terrace and the ride comfort was just perfectly balanced between comfort and "still feeling something".
