     Why buy it when he can build it and have so much fun in the process? 

    @Mike: will you paint the boot lid blue or leave it in carbon fiber? IMO you should paint it to keep the performance a bit more stealth.

    Hi E, I'm ricer, but not THAT ricer Smiley It's going to be painted body colour. Only I would know the trunk is CF. I'm leaving the carbon kevlar exposed, but the carpets cover that in anycase.

    Pride, those are pics of my friends M3 I am doing a shoot of my car and his once it's finished, but he has really gone the whole 9 yards with that car. It's being supercharged as we speak.

    Hi Mike,

    Any update on the car?? I'm sure, by now, you would have put the challange trunk.

    How do you like the M3, I'm curious about your opinion of the car.

    I have confirmed my M3 order today.

    And I have made a small tuning list for the upcoming car.

    Here is my list and I'm also curious about your opinion here:

    1) Cosmatic changes: BMW Performance Kidneys, Vorsteiner Type II diffusor and that's it (Maybe BMW performance carbon lip spoiler for the trunk)

    2) Performance parts: RPi air scoops (though still searching) + BMC filter + Exhaust (Akrapovic, Eisenmann race or Kreissieg) and software (probably powerchip or superchip)

    3) interior changes: BMW Performance Seats, Performance pedals and custom carbon wrap on center consule.

    Hi Pride,

    Yes, the wheels and Brembo's are arriving this week. The car will go in to mount the brakes and trunk simultaneously next week.

    I ordered an Akrapovic full titanium exhaust system yesterday. The AA exhaust looks and sounds great, but it was setting off car alarms in my basement with the resonance I need something a bit more discreet and the Akrapovic was the next logical step. Not mad about the sound at WOT with the Akrapovic, but it will do.

    As for you mods, good choice! If you want my old BMC filter you can have it. Just need to pay postage. The Dinan intake comes with a new filter and adapter, so I'm using that now.

    Have you heard the Akra. full system in flesh? I haven't heard any of them but for performance sake and since BMW uses the same system for M3 GT4, Akra. is the way to go.
