There is a F12 here in Bavaria, 6 years old, 24k km for 160k EUR. No accident.
Many other cars in similar condition cost around 170-190k EUR.

UK market could be cheaper. Question for the experts in 812s? How much the depreciation could be in 3-5 years since 1st registration and if the % drop in value is based on the base price of the new car or the base price plus options. For example the 812 demo had 100k GBP in options.

I would never buy a used car with more than 20k km. Actually make it 10k km.
I don't know how reliable the F12 is but it certainly is an attractive product from Ferrari and if I had to choose between a 911 Carrera S and a used F12 for similar money, I think I know what I'd do.
How is maintenance cost btw.? My Huracan Performante is around 1600 EUR for the first small service and 3400 EUR for the second big one, which is acceptable in my opinion. Make it double for the Aventador as far as I heard, so I guess the F12 isn't far behind.

2 years and 20k km. That is the sweet spot. Those cars are still like "new" and have at least 2 years factory warranty, but have depreciated 50%. Great value for money.

Nothing at all, not even for liquids (oil, brake fluid, etc.), brake pads/discs or tires?

Agreed. I am just always afraid with how the previous owner treated the car. This is why I wanted to get a new Lambo instead of a slightly used one (could have saved at least 20k).
Probably another reason I usually don't buy cars and leasing a used car makes no sense financially (lease deals are usually better for new cars than for used ones, as weird as this may sometimes sound).

only tires. the rest is taken care of.
At the sky high price of €300.000 plus some exorbitant options, Ferrari can appear to offer value for an initial period knowing that the majority of these cars are not driven much anyway 
And what happens after the first 7 years either for the original owner or for any daring used buyer? Probably kept in a garage for the fear of crippling costs.

No, kept in a garage because every Ferrari is a collector car, and will be worth multiples of your purchase price in... some number of years.

In the past you had to be "somebody" to drive cars in that category. Nowadays, everyone who had made a few quid wants to show off by driving a Ferrari or similar, something that he he cannot really afford. Thus the car is kept practically undriven for the fear of depreciation awaiting the great appreciation of value of his imaginary museum piece.
If an automobile is viewed as a commodity for profit there far better things to invest your money in.

You are right. And what is funny: even if a 812 is not driven its value will drop like a stone (all 12 cylinder Ferraris show the same pattern)

The Ferrari Omologata is a one-off, rebodied 812 Superfast
The Omologata then, commissioned by a “discerning European client” and completed in two years, had much to express.
Beauty of the Ferrari/Client relationship. They truly value their best customers. Others are still miles behind. If a client wants a 'one off' car, for a price Ferrari will build it.
Aston is close in that regards. Porsche was part of that special group before, now a firm no. it used to be the Exclusive department is the special wish department, nothing is too much to ask for. Guess now Porsche is too big to do those things. Can't be bothered with.

If someone have say a 250 sitting in a air-conditioned garage somewhere, I am pretty sure Ferrari doesn't say no
