1 hour left!
It's too bad for the 45 lizard car and Falken car. The vettes have had some awful luck as well. It does look like the Cytosport RS Spyder is going to take the win in LMP2.
For the vettes I'd call that imcompetence rather than bad luck!... The pit crew had been doing so well over all these years, wondering what happened there... And I was looking forward to this year, with their first full year in GT with all the other boys... Oh well, next race maybe

It definitely is too bad for the 45 lizard car...One does have to question race control keeping the pits closed for the length of time that they did. I think the 45 car lost 3 laps just on that alone.
reginos:
I wonder if the Flying Lizards car would have won in the absence of this accident and delay
Anyway, it's good to see the redundant RS Spyder getting another class win. A consolation, I guess
I could be wrong given that I was very tired but I believe the 45 lizard car was down 2 laps at the end and that their having to wait in the pits costs them 3 and a half laps. The drivers of the 45 car really had to wrestle it around to match the pace of the others.
I was very happy for the Cytosport team and the RS Spyder. You have to admit that the LMP2 field was rather weak. The Dyson car, as always ran into mechanical problems and had it not been for the electrical problem with the Acura (if you can really say it's an Acura) I think we would have seen a different outcome.

The fastest race times for the 45 was about the same as Risi (just slightly slower). I'm not sure that they can keep up the pace for the same period of time (the average lap time per stint is really what we need to examine). Before all the drama, they were already about 40 seconds back. This is far too much. I am ot at all hopeful for this season.
As for the BMW; this is just silly! They are purpose built race cars that have absolutely nothing to do with the street going versions. (gear box and diff in rear, Engine pulled back, exhausts out the side, etc)
