2010 Bahrain Grand Prix
Now that Winter testing is now officially over, attention now turns to the 1st race of the 2010 F1 season.
There's no doubt that this is one of the most keenly anticipated F1 seasons for some years because of:
- the return of Michael Schumacher And the return of Mercedes Benz as more than just an engine supplier
- the fact that there are no fewer than 4 current or former F1 World Champions in this year's driver's championship
- the best drivers happen to be in the most competitive cars (especially Alonso moving to Ferrari & Button moving to McLaren)
- McLaren and Ferrari appear to be quick again (after their disastrous starts to the 2009 F1 season)
- some interesting rules changes for the 2010 season
- a number of new teams joining the grid
All in all, Bahrain promises to be very exciting for all the above reasons
I hope we see much more overtaking as a result of the greater competitiveness and increased unpredictability
Ross Brawn is targeting victory in Bahrain - he's a very smart guy and wouldn't make such a statement without good reason

Webber is not making any predictions about the 2010 season

And Jenson Button is also pumped up for the 2010 season

Meanwhile, the rumour is that US F1 have asked the FIA if they can miss the entire 2010 season
