Who would ever want to stop hearing that glorious V8 even at traffic lights?
To be honest with you the sound of loud engines is very irritating for bystanders in the city. Even myself that I like cars sometimes they noise gets to my nerves. Of course the whole idea is to save fuel, noise elimination is a good side effect IMO.

Iain, you like the Cali that much? Or does that move you up on the list for the 458?
I'm already getting my dealer's first customer 458 Nick with a July build date. I'm going to the Atelier to spec it in 3 weeks
I do really like the Cali so another one is a no brainer for me
Kreso,
Yes, I'll stick with DCT as it really suits the nature of this car. I was thinking of going with sports sats but I sat in a car fitted with them at Geneva and wasn't keen on them so will most likey stick to the standard seats again with the Daytona finish.
Here are the sports seats.
I doubt I'll go for red as I don't think it's a great colour for a GT Ferrari. I'm a bit stumped as to what I'll go for next time round as I think it will be hard to beat my current Bianco Avus/Cuoio combination. I've got a year or so to make my decision though and I'll take the opportunity whilst visiting the Atelier and production line at the end of this month to get a few ideas

Plenty of very nice shades of Blue to chose from, that suit the shape and the character of the California. Blue has been a traditional Ferrari colour for Gran Turismo models.

you beat me to it reginos, i was just about to quote this beauty to settle decision making process. 250 GT Lusso and 1962 250GT SWB both in a dark blue, not sure the exact color but they both look striking. There's the link for the SWB

You are a tough customer mate...
How about this shade of light blue then? http://www.ferrari.com/English/GT_Sport%20Cars/Pages/Carslanding.aspx
I know you dislike blue but this is different.
Vinaccia?? Possibly the worst colour I've seen a modern Ferrari in.
Remember I'll have to sell this car on at some point and colours like Vinaccia or Mugello would be kiss of death as far as residuals go. The 50's/60's colour pallette has limited appeal to most people so it's a big no no.
