oh, no, I didn't think they restricted it that way

The problem with using a web proxy that gives you a spanish IP (or UK IP for iPlayer) is that those free web proxies are 90% down or if they work they are way to slow to allow video streaming

Apparently these two sites offer TV channels which offer F1 races from what I have read on the web, I have never checked them out for anything but may be worth a try if there is no other choice:

You never cease to amaze me Carlos.

I tried both and was unfortunately unsuccessful. TVU network used to have a channel called Wheels but it is no more. I did manage to find what seems to be a reliable proxy server but then I ran into compatability issues because I have a Mac.

There is a group of F-1 fans here in New York City that meets at local pubs but this isn't exactly convenient for me since I live just outside of the city.

The last time I went a Schumi fan sat next to me and wouldn't shut up about how great he thinks he is. Smiley

Indeed, I just have a very clever satellite receiver (Dreambox DM500), which is like every other on the market with the only difference, that it's always connected to the internet and I have the possibility to access it via internet address. After that you can manipulate it just, as you would do at home with your remote control.

You just see on the computer, a very user friendly interface and open a movie player and watch the selected TV program.

In this case, my receiver will be always switched to a program, which will broadcast F1 and will be a pleasure to me, to help our Rennteam friend.

Sorry for my bad English, but this is in some words...

As Arshad said on the main F1 thread, it would be great if the TV broadcasters were to show F1 testing. The passion and level of interest is definitely there, especially this season with so many great drivers in all the most competitive cars
