    Pagani C9 details

    Some new info about Zonda successor revealed by Mr. Pagani himself in an interview :

    - engine 6,0l V12 twin-turbo by AMG, 700bhp and 1000Nm

    - carbo-titanium chassis, avional suspension

    - price 900 000  € + VAT

    - late 2010 unveiling

    - 40 units per year, sold worldwide, complies with US regulations

    - 3 770 new components

    - design based on a fighter jet

     

    As far as weight is concerned, C9 should be slightly lighter than current production. Performance is rumoured to be in Veyron region, thanks to even greater power/weight ratio.

     I'm sure Mr. Pagani wont disappoint, the driving experience, and specially the sound are a big part of the whole Pagani magic. the engine might be a turbo but i wouldn't worry about the sound, i'm positive it will be monumental.

    beautifully crafted works of art, but you can't touch N/A engines for sound and I say this makes the One-77 even more desirable.

    new mercedes turbo engine will be used also for in the MB range...mb back to turbo engine (55amg models...maybe another name..) seems they went to NA engine in the downsizing moment so now they back to the basics of few years ago

    I think the Gullwing doors are because of the SLS connection.

     but that would make no sense, they already exploited the SLS factor with the new one. and pagani doesn't have any historical connection to the gullwing doors or the sls that would be worth such a dramatic design cue.
