I'd say the chrome finish will look more modern Stefan and make the wheel look less like the 348 style. I really like the grey finish on the wheels of my Scud against the Rosso Scuderia paint. The contrast effect is more subtle than the starkness of bright silver IMHO.

I luv black but i agree it takes away a lot from the styling. Although it looks better on the Italia than the 430.

I have always believed that black exterior on stylish cars hides the lines that make the car stylish. Cars which are styled more for function than appearance like the Carrera GT look good in black.

Though I recognize that looks are subjective, most people would agree that a Ferrari, any Ferrari, is better styled than the best of Porsche's. Like all the other Porsche's, the Carrera GT DOES NOT HAVE ANY STYLING CUES . It was put together for performance and it certainly accomplished its goal.

Very well said nick, totally agree. I personally like exotics in black and on dark colours but in this case i do agree that the 458s styling doesn't come through in darker tones. this car wil surely look better on the lighter side of the spectrum (yellow, white, and especially all the silvers. Oh and it could also look killer on that light blue they had for the scud which i don't remember the name.)
To each his own, I am more of a form follows function = beauty type of guy (for cars at least 
). When I hear people criticize the looks of the CGT I can't see their point. I truly think it is one of the best looking cars ever designed and the lines are extremely clean and purposeful. Beautiful from all angles, no styling just for style's sake. Of course I think Ferraris are beautiful too however some of the details and extra styling bug me. The 458 is a very good looking car but IMHO it doesn't hold a candle to the CGT.

But , no, the official Ferrari dealer is just underneath Parc Mon Repos , near the town center. BeauRivage still sells F, but is not an official dealer

I was told that Ferrari are considering offering the two tone paint as an option. I guess they must have seen the positive reaction to the p'shops on F Chat.

I do know my way around Canton Geneve/Vaud. I lived there for 5 years.

Dealers here have learned from their US counterparts Nick and are taking early "demo" cars which can then be sold on at MSRP plus a tidy profit.
Talked to a friend, who works for a Ferrari dealer (not my F-dealer), he said their 458 demo car had something like 180.000 km on the odometer.

Well, perhaps he was exaggerating a bit, but he definitely said 180k.
