Actually looks better with a euro plate on than without it. IMHO. hides the mouth a bit...
Agreed. License plate breaks up the big red area of the front, but I think the small version like in Switzerland or Italia for example will look best.

I've just realised that the car at the Monaco dealer is missing the Cavallino on the front grill. Odd as I'd have thought it's fitted at the factory, not the dealership. There appears to be no support bracket for it on this car either.

Happy new year to all of you...
I dont agreetough... Rosso Fuoco is the best colour... I agree with extra cost.. it is 3 layers colour.. they paint it 3 times.!! the problem is that it is more sensitive at small rocks etc..
My car will be though a 2 layers colour Nero Setoso.. it is the special black that Ferrari introduced at Fiorano.. again with extra cost though.. :(

Thanks for clarification Nick, I already thought that the black from the car in
Maranello wasn't the standard metallic black.
So how much is this black?
So in Maranello there were only the three new multi-layer colours and rosso corsa. So these are the four colours to choose from, the rest is crap.

What do you think, did they already ruin the bracket?
Perhaps the owner wants to put his license plate there...

I'm thinking it's a high cost "branding delete" option from Ferrari

It seems so...
They are just tailpipe finishers Joost that are fixed to the mesh. The California and Scuderia have the same set up. The "real" exhaust pipes sit inside and quite well back from these decorative finishers and are much narrower in diameter so there is no issue with rattling. Many modern cars have this type of finish to make the tailpipe look more visually impressive and appear to be a larger diameter.

Guess I was right then...
Actually the license plate in this spot doesn't look that bad, what do you think?

Stefan,
That Monaco licence plate is much smaller than a standard EU front plate which I doubt would fit in that space.
That's the space for a Swiss number plate ( the Monanco one is larger )
You can also see there is the Swiss highway sticker on the car

Iain already said it-Monaco and Italy front licence plate is much smaller then usual EU standard.
Croatia and Germany for example are the same in size.
458 from your friend with front German plate do not look that bad-just I want to know the way he or dealer attached licence plate. Drilling a holes in 458 front is not my idea for perfect solution-hopefully Ferrari will provide some kind of front licence plate holder.
Honestly-458 Italia looks very best without front licence plate.
I can't make up my mind... I guess live I wouldn't even care what licence plate setup i choose... pics are aways strange that way. makes you think to much about the details.

I thought the same. Definitely a small license plate in the size of the ones from Switzerland.
Anybody knows, if this spot was intended to hold the license plate by Ferrari?

I guess they drilled holes into the front bumper, just as they drilled holes into the rear bumper.
I don't think we will see something like a special front licence plate holder from Ferrari, they never care about such silly things.
Problem is, if you have to have a front licence plate that is even EU-size, where should you put it and how should it be attached at the front of a 458 Italia?
